THE GROUP CHAT GUIDE / 3 min read

Turn “we should play sometime” into a weekly ritual.

A small plan that helps your group spend less time organising and more time out on the ground.

MAKE TIME FOR PLAY.

Pick a recurring window.

Start by asking for one or two times people can usually make. A regular window reduces the decisions you need to make each week. Keep the time flexible enough to work with the actual availability at your chosen venue.

Keep the headcount clear.

Ask for a definite yes or no before you book, and set a clear deadline. One organiser can collect confirmations, choose a suitable slot and share the final plan. Rotate that role so the organising does not always fall to the same person.

Share one complete plan.

Send the venue name, address, date, court and start time in one message. Include when the group should arrive. Keep your booking details available in your account so you can check the plan without scrolling through a long conversation.

Agree on costs beforehand.

Confirm the total price and how the group will share it before making payment. If you pay a deposit, include the remaining balance in the plan. For a change or cancellation, contact support to understand the options for that particular booking.

Make it easy to come back.

At the end of the game, ask what worked and what would make next time easier. Save a venue you enjoyed. A useful routine is one your group wants to repeat, whether that means the same court or trying somewhere new.
